My husband and I have just completed an amazing 10 day holiday exploring Sri Lanka with our wonderful tour guide Kanishka.
From the moment of our arrival ( in the middle of the night) he was always professionally presented, very punctual, friendly and helpful with all the details of our day to day itinerary.
Kanishka was also very accommodating and happy to adjust our options within the itinerary to suit our requests. He considered our age and abilities ensuring the activities were enjoyable, comfortable and manageable at our pace while exploring everything we wanted to include on our tour.
Throughout our holiday he shared helpful information, commentary and useful recommendations, that showed excellent local knowledge, enhancing our enjoyment and understanding of each destination we visited.

Kanishka was an informative tour guide for me and my friend travelling on a 5 day tour around beautiful gem of an island, Sri Lanka. He was flexible with our travel itinerary which we had planned beforehand and was extremely adaptable to our plans on the go. He was also punctual, often arriving before our agreed time.
He was a safe driver and we appreciated his meticulous driving throughout the country, where we didn't vomit once (we're both prone to motion sickness).

We have just completed an 8 day guided tour with Kanishka, our Government certified tourist guide.

As both our driver and guide Kanisha proved exemplary. He communicated plans clearly, was punctual, respectful and demonstrated great humour, as well as proving to be a calm hand at the wheel. He remained flexible and adaptable responding to our changing plans; if an excursion didn’t fit our preferences he supported our needs by making suggestions for alternative activities not already on the itinerary. He proved indefatigable in accommodating our last minute requests to sample local foods or stop at businesses on route.

We had a fabulous time exploring the sites on the tour. Kanishka was passionate about sharing the history and culture of Sri Lanka throughout and provided insight into the significance of all the sites visited.  Nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

We were able to tick off some real bucket list items on this trip, including seeing elephants in the wild, taking in the lush vistas of Sigiriya, sipping masala chai on an imperial railway travelling through the historic Ceylon tea plantations, seeing 5 leopards in a single day!!, as well as having our paths crossed by a 2m long cobra (luckily whilst still in our jeep on safari).

Kanishka handled the organisation throughout with aplomb, leaving us to deal with the arduous task of relaxing.

His ability to understand my quick-fire, accented English deserves its own mention.

I cannot recommend Sri Lanka, its people or our guide enough. If you choose to visit you won't be disappointed.

Our tour guide for an 8 day trip visiting Sri Lanka, Kanishka, made our trip a wonderfully memorable experience.

Some of the excellent qualities that Kanishka brought to our experience in Sri Lanka were as follows:
1. Safe driver, so we never felt uncomfortable even on switchbacks and narrow roads
2. Organized and extremely punctual
3. Flexible schedule and plan to customize our events and visit to our taste versus a one size fits all
4. Helpful,  pleasant demeanor
5. Knowledgeable about Sri Lankan history and traditions, food, and even about the wildlife on safaris
6. Proud of Sri Lankan heritage and happy to share information
7. Good command of English language

We had an amazing experience exploring Sri Lanka with Kanishka, who was the best guide we have had on any trip.

Everything about our trip was perfect - the itinerary was fantastic, and all of our hotels and meals were great. Kanishka ensured that our itinerary was perfectly tailored, exactly on time for every occasion and able to tailor each experience to our precise needs and desires. His guiding skills truly demonstrated the benefit of having a guide for the trip - we would never have had all the unique experiences we enjoyed without his help and assistance at every stage. He ensured we got the best drivers, best seats, and best experience at each stop on our travel.

Kanishka was always punctual, so friendly, and so knowledgeable about everywhere we visited. He's an amazing photographer too, which was great. His knowledge of history, culture, and wildlife was fantastic.

We couldn't believe how well every tiny was detail was taken care of - from the comfort and cleanliness of the car, to his immense flexibility to amend parts of our schedule when we requested. Highly Recommend. Our Driver /Tour guide Kanishka was amazing.
Our 8 day / 7 night tour in Sri Lanka was everything we hoped for. Our driver, tour guide was so kind, prompt, knowledgable and considerate.
We loved that our driver took pictures of the two of us along the way, something we don’t normally get as we travel.
He freely shared his knowledge of history, culture, flora, fauna and answered our many questions.
The car was always clean, he checked the rooms as we checked in to make sure all was good.
Our guide got us to sunrise at Sigirya Rock, sunset at Little Adams Peak. He arranged an excellent Jeep driver for an early morning Yala NP Safari where we were fortunate to get some great views of ‘Lucas’ the largest leopard in Yala’s Block 1. He arranged for FRONT ROW seats to a beautiful cultural show in Kandy. He made sure that we got onto and off the train near Nuwara Eliya to Ella. As well as other places.
As we were leaving after watching the train pass over the 9 Arches Bridge I over heard a young woman just arriving say to her partner “I am so disappointed that we missed the train. This was such an expensive part of the trip.”
We are so happy to have had Kanishka to adjust our trip to our needs and then take care of all the details so that we did not miss any magical moments.

We had a wonderful week long tour with Kanishka around Sri Lanka. We visited Yale, Udawalawa, Ella, Kandy, and Sirgiriya. He is professional, knowledgeable, very patient, willing to get up at 4:30am multiple times to see the sunrise and be the first ones in the Safari parks. We was also willing to hike up to different places to show us around, tell us about the history, and take pictures of us, which I haven't seen of many guides locally or internationally. He also took us to a few secret spots that were not part of the original itinerary which were super cool! Definitely in the top percentile of guides I've had and I've had many. I have nothing but praise for this fantastic tour we were on this past week.
Our tour guide, Kanishka was the ultimate professional with his vast knowledge, information and explanations to every iconic location we visited.
Being chauffeur driven in the safety of his spotlessly clean, air conditioned car was an absolute joy.
